ReadSlot
Terms of Use
Free to use. Provided as is. Your data stays on your device.
In short
ReadSlot is free to install and use. It is provided "as is" with no warranty, your reading data stays in your browser, and Calendar events are created only after you explicitly confirm them. By using ReadSlot you accept these terms.
1. The Service
These terms apply when you install or use ReadSlot ("the extension"), published by Archiom ("we", "us", "our"). By using ReadSlot, you agree to use it lawfully and remain responsible for the content and Calendar events you choose to save or create.
ReadSlot saves web content locally, estimates reading effort, suggests available reading periods, and creates Google Calendar events after explicit confirmation. Features may change as the extension develops.
2. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for your Google Account, the content you save, the calendars you select, and reviewing event details before confirmation. Do not use ReadSlot to violate law, intellectual-property rights, service rules, or another person's privacy.
3. Google Services
Google Calendar and Chrome are third-party services governed by Google's own terms and policies. ReadSlot is not endorsed by Google, and the availability of Calendar features may depend on Google APIs, account permissions, administrator policies, or service changes.
4. No Automatic Booking Guarantee
Suggestions are planning assistance, not a guarantee that time remains available. ReadSlot rechecks availability before creation where possible, but you should review conflicts and event details. ReadSlot does not silently recreate events deleted outside the extension.
5. Disclaimer and Limitation
ReadSlot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Archiom is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses arising from use of the extension.
6. Changes and Termination
You may stop using ReadSlot at any time by disconnecting Google Calendar and uninstalling the extension. These terms may be updated, with the effective date changed on this page.
7. Contact
Questions can be submitted through the ReadSlot issue tracker at github.com/archiom-io/readslot/issues, or by emailing [email protected]. Do not include private data or credentials.
