Day Counter
No data collected. Everything stays on your device.
In short
Day Counter does not collect any data. All countdowns and widget data stay on your device. We do not operate servers that receive your information, we do not use analytics or crash reporting, and we do not share data with anyone.
Day Counter ("the app") is an Android utility that lets you track important dates — count days since a date you choose, days until an upcoming date, and display them via home-screen widgets. It is published by Archiom ("we", "us", "our").
This policy explains how the app treats your information. It applies to the version of Day Counter installed on your device and to your use of that app.
None.
The app does not transmit personal data, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage analytics, crash reports, location, or any other information off your device to us or to any third party at our direction. We do not run servers that receive your data, because the app does not send any.
Day Counter requests no special runtime permissions for its core countdown and widget features. Standard Android permissions for displaying widgets on your home screen are handled by the system.
Because the app requests no sensitive permissions, it cannot access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, messages, or any other permission-gated resource.
All data created within the app is stored locally on your device using a Room database. This data lives only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
None of this is transmitted off your device at our direction.
Android automatically backs up most app settings to your Google account unless an app explicitly opts out. Day Counter does not opt out. That means the values listed in section 4 are eligible for Google's standard Android Backup service, and may be restored if you set up a new device from your Google backup.
This behavior is managed by Android and Google, not by us. The data is handled according to Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). To disable Android Backup, see your device's Settings > System > Backup.
Day Counter uses no third-party SDKs or services.
We do NOT use any of the following:
The app does not require an internet connection for its core features. All countdown calculations and widget rendering happen entirely on-device and work offline.
Because we do not collect or store your data on our systems, there is no "account" to access, export, or delete. The local values described in section 4 remain under your control:
Day Counter is a general-audience utility suitable for all ages. Because the app does not collect any data from anyone, it does not collect data from children. The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your region), and no age gate is required.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and ship the revised text in the next app update. The policy bundled with the installed app reflects the version that applies to your use of that build. For a historical copy, see the app update release notes on the Google Play Store.
